First up is Jad & The with ‘Sophisticated Cat’, and this cat is as sophisticated as they come. Building up on a Roland rim shot, this groovy number comes in with a deliciously sustained Rhodes lick slowly fading in. The beats drop out and a sweet looping vocal joins the proceedings,
setting the stage for a twisting acid line and an infectious Funk break to take us to the end in style. This tune is both mellow and wonderfully danceable, which is just what we like at ‘Hallo Montag’.
