Chopstick and Johnjon are having a baby! A musical baby that is, of course. Over the next nine months the Suol label bosses will be releasing one track each month. At the end of this magical time a strapping young album will have made its way into the world. Join us in celebrating this miracle and check out every new track as it arrives.

Here is track 3.

A driving kick drum rhythm and quick, shuffling hi-hats pull us into the groove of ‘One Step’ right off the bat. Deep, long bass notes lay down the harmony for lush pads and a playfully played piano to open up into while filtered fragments of a rap vocal slowly emerge into the foreground. The track cleverly alternates full-on hi-hat and clap action and deep, dreamy parts, keeping the dancers entertained and in a state of nostalgic bliss until the end.
